Seton Hall Anime Club Website
Our university’s anime club decided it was time to consider making a website, so everyone would know when and where meetings will be held, and what to expect from it as a new member!
In collaboration with Samanvita Cheemalapati and Vanessa Gerbi, we designed a concept for a website for the club, so everyone would know when and where meetings will be held, and what to expect from it as a new member!
We interviewed current club members, current students at our university, and prospective students on what they like and dislike in a website, and what they would expect from a website for an anime club.
We then drafted a sitemap emphasizing the most important pages, including an About, Schedule, Club Activities, Anime of the Week, and Contact pages!
After creating an initial wireframe for the homepage, we each took a crack at designing the homepage. The final result is a combination of all our ideas, though Vanessa’s style is most prominent.
Including the homepage, there are a total of 10 pages we created for this website. Following the style and theme used for the homepage, I was responsible for designing the Schedule, Outside Events, and Contact pages.
The Schedule page lists the time and day for club meetings, as well as upcoming club events.
The Outside Events page lists Anime Conventions and other anime-themed events going on outside the university.
The Contact page lists all of the club’s methods of contact, including email, social media, and the university’s engage page.
These are the website styles, including fonts and the base color palette.
